The Challenge
Alana’s Runnin With Scizzors is a hair salon located in Reedsburg Wisconsin. Alana provides quality and affordable hair styling to clients. She’s devoted to exciting her customers with a genuine, professional, and personalized approach. This makes everyone feel like family.
The primary challenge was delivering an attractive and engaging website on a razor-thin budget. The end result needed to be effective without disrupting her bottom line.

A secondary challenge for this project was helping increase her search presence. Her old site had contact information but, no site content, title tags or anything else to help search engines index and rank her site. As a result, her site was found on page three of search results.
To solve this I started with some keyword research to learn what her potential clients were looking for. From there I crafted her content around those results to try to maximize her on page SEO efforts.
Project Summary
Alana now has a website that she can be proud of and knows is bringing in traffic and clients for her business.
Increasing her SEO efforts and has allowed her to crawl up to page one in search results, gaining a lot of organic visibility. The result has been a consistent flow of new viewers to her site every week.
